Lil Things – Lower Impact Living

Lil Things is about taking just one step towards a Lower Impact Lifestyle at whatever stage you’re at: if you’re a super recycler, green fiend, or well-intentioned-but-super-busy (we get it), wherever you are, any step you take will be reducing our overall footprints. And that’s got to be a good thing.

We want to make those steps ever easier: so we’ll be sharing what we have done, ideas from others – tell us yours! – and we’ll keep you updated on our progress towards providing more unpackaged and eco goods in East Lothian and Edinburgh

Community Defibrillator 

The Community Defibrillator is located in the old Phone box, outside the Shop.

If the defibrillator is needed to be used,  a 999 call, reporting the location, will provide the code which can be tapped in to unlock the container in the event of an emergency.

Local fundraising to provide the community with the defibrillator was carried out by Madelaine Routledge and Knot Knits and a grant was also received from Haddington & Lammermuir Area Partnership.
